Lawn Boy

In the post below, I told you that Ash immediately cries if he touches grass. Of course, it is only a few days later that he decides to prove me wrong and expand his world. (I have a feeling he'll be proving me wrong at will for the rest of my life......)

The breakthrough came at the Art Fair on Saturday, when he saw our friends' girls playing in the grass. Suddenly he decided that "all the cool kids are doing it," I guess.

These shots were taken Sunday at Grandma & Grandpa F's house.

He's a funny one.

Rear Window Kid

Asher loves to look out the back window at the yard.

Trees, leaves, birds, squirrels, etc are all very popular

Of course, he doesn't actually like to touch grass -- he instantly starts crying. haha

And -- oops -- he barks at birds (yes, he barks at dogs now too, but he seems to believe birds are the same thing.)

This last picture cracks me up -- can you see the reflection of my goofy face? Anything for a grin . . .

Captain Entropy

My son has one great talent -- creating chaos.

He attacks laundry with a ferocity typically reserved for predatory animals

An hour of giddy fun . . .

Daddy's blackberry can be tossed around at will . . .

Captain Entropy (part II)

Toys are of course the most available means of mess creation . . .

And he takes full advantage. Always.

But the discovery of bookcases was a really fun moment in his life.

Anything that'll get a kid that enthused about books is fine with me.

He's amusing.
